SEEING THE INVISIBLE – A PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION BY DIDIER BRANSWYCK

Didier BRANSWYCK - photograph

After initially training in analogue audiovisual production and gaining experience in a photography studio and local television, he eventually devoted his career to the medical and social care sector, working in a specialist care home. During this long period, his photography took a back seat.
In recent years, he has returned to the medium through a unique lens: black-and-white infrared photography. Drawn to the technical challenge and graphic potential of this process, which he had to master.

His Universe: The Invisible and the Infrared Didier Branswyck’s work focuses on exploring what he calls the ‘Infra-world’.

• Technique: He uses infrared photography, a technique that captures light waves beyond the spectrum visible to the human eye.
• Aesthetics: His images transform natural landscapes into dreamlike, almost surreal scenes. The foliage often appears pure white (the Wood effect) or in unreal, timeless hues, creating a spellbinding visual style that invites the viewer to daydream.

Combining technical mastery with raw emotion, through “REGARDER l’INVISIBLE” he invites you on a sensory journey to a dreamlike world.

On display from 17 March to 29 May 2026 at Quadrilaser – 1 rue de Gourville – 45140 ORMES
