Digitisation of drawings

Works by Michel Charpentier

On behalf of his wife Catherine, Quadrilaser has digitised more than 200 drawings by the artist Michel Charpentier. This work was carried out over the course of 2023 and 2024, for the purposes of conservation and reproduction on art paper, and bears witness to the talent of its creator through a perfectly mastered technique and great creativity.

About Michel Charpentier (1934-1996)

A graduate of the "Ecole des Métiers d'Arts in Paris", he began his career as an illustrator with Hachette.
He then divided his time between sculpting unusual wooden objects, pen-and-ink drawing and painting.
Each drawing and painting is a blend of the real and the imaginary.
He has a deep admiration for the Flemish painters of the 15th and 16th centuries
but also for Klee, Miro and above all Dali.
