The new generation Hasselblad Flextight X5 scanner is based on a vertical optical system. It allows the CCD to be oriented downwards, so there is no glass between the original and the lens. The patented virtual drum provides optimal focus over the entire surface of the original, while the flexible stand allows for easy mounting and safe handling of originals.
